Adorable Troy Hound (Unknown Type) Puppy Male for sale in Seattle, Washington

Adorable Troy's story
**Troy is currently being fostered in Houston

meaning it will not be possible to meet him in person prior to his adoption. We will set up a video chat so potential adopters can meet him and his foster prior to finalizing his adoption. His adoption donation is $450USD he has had two rounds of puppy vaccinations but since he is too young to be neutered, his family will sign a contract agreeing to have the remainder of his vetting completed at their expense once he is deemed old/big enough by the vet. Because transport and care are expensive, the adoption fee is non-negotiable. **
Our cute little Troy came to us when we rescued his litter as they were being given away at an OK truck stop during a snow storm. It was a brutally cold day and we couldnt walk away from these little babies shivering in a box. We promised them amazing lives!
Troy is a Hound Mix of some sortnobody is entirely sure what their breed mix is, but they are adorable. We anticipate that he will be a good medium sized dog when hes done growing

probably in the 50-55 pound range. He is currently 10 weeks old and will be ready to leave us for his new family after March 6th. Hound mixes tend to be active dogs, so his adoptive family should be ready for all things puppy including potty, kennel, leash, and life training.
The puppies adventurous side is starting to come out! They love to play and run around, then crash out for a good nap! They are expert snugglers and love being held and played with. She will make a good adventuring buddy for the right family.
He has lived with other dogs both large and small and did great. Since he is young, he should easily acclimate into any family dynamic

including cats and children who have been taught to be respectful of animals.
He is still a very young pup

so he is not fully anything trained. Their adoptive families will need to understand that they will take time to potty, kennel, leash, and life train

all of which will take patience and time. The pups will be best suited for a family that can provide them with patience and positive reinforcement they transition from foster into his forever family.
The best suited family will be one that understands that dogs can take time to acclimate to their new homes - which could include having accidents, crying in their kennel, and chewing on things they are not supposed to.
We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who plan to keep them as indoor pets and part of the family. We do not adopt to families who plan to keep dogs outside for an extended period of time, for example the entire workday.
Troy has had two rounds of puppy vaccinations, including 2 DHPP and 2 Bordatella, and has been dewormed. He has also been microchipped. Since he is too young to for his rabies or to be spayed, his adoptive family will sign a contract agreeing to having him neutered at their expense once he is deemed old/big enough by the vet. Agreeing to the neutering is not optional and not doing so will be considered a breach of the adoption contract.
