These are some of the more loving kitties I've ever met! Artemis (boy) and Athena (girl) came to the Animal Shelter together and cuddle with each other, they would be very sad to be separated. They're both huge sweethearts and very friendly, only took 1 day to get comfortable with my house. Athena likes to sleep under blankets and is very cuddly and mellow, Artemis likes high places and exploring, he's also very cuddly and loves to be petted. Artemis needs to be stimulated throughout the day with toys or else he'll keep you up at night with scratching and loud meows. It's also helpful if Artemis has lots of toys to play with at night time (especially a vertical scratching post). They are both potty-trained and use the litterbox happily, both share a litterbox but can be fussy if the litterbox isn't cleaned regularly.
These kitties would be fantastic for a family with kids, they are both very patient cats and never get upset at us humans :). Artemis likes to be played with, followed around the house and petted. Athena is a cuddle-monster and will start purring almost immediately if you cuddle up next to her (she also drools a little too when she gets really happy). I can easily imagine them being the favorite pets of some kiddos. Not sure if these kitties would interact well with other animals, though. They are both indoor cats.
One thing to note for Artemis is that he has a prescription that will need to be picked up and given to a potential adopter to help with his transition/stress during that time.
