SHAY -

arriving in Portland, OR on August 10th (approx. 10 weeks old on fly date)

Hi everyone!

I'm Shay, and I'm one of the two girls in this litter, but we couldn't be more different! I'm the biggest puppy, at approx. 16 lbs as of Aug. 8th and I look the most like my mama with that beautiful brindle coat.

I'm gorgeous!

:) I romp with the boys, and also like to lay smashed against the leg of a volunteer when they sit to play and cuddle with us before transferring to their lap with my sweet puppy dog eyes looking up at them.

I think I'm a big dog and try super hard to sneak out and play with them; but, the care team says I have wait until I get all my shots before I can mix and mingle. I’m super social, and my team would like to see me with a home that provides me a doggie sibling or regular interaction with other pups.

Like my siblings, I'm doing really well with potty training and I also sleep in an open crate with them at night.

I'll be a great addition to any family - shhh, but Sarah says I’m her favorite. ?

THE WHOLE LITTER STORY
We were rescued from a sports stadium, where mama had taken us to be safe while she had birth and nursed us for approx. 6 -8 weeks.

Our rescue team at PRDF has had us all since (and mama will be trapped and spayed), and are socializing us and taking care of our minor skin issues suffered while in the wild.

We are a GREAT litter of puppies (there are 7 of us - 5 boys and 2 girls!) - we play, romp, cuddle like champs, and push our way in for our turn at cuddles with the volunteer team - and we cannot wait to meet our adoptive families.

The team is hoping our homes will be chosen before we leave the island, so apply today - your adoption fee covers our flight, through our volunteer flyer network.
